Air Force put its act together in the decider and hacked out a 25-19, 18-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-10 victory over PLDT to snatch the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference crown at the Blue Eagle gym in QC on Friday.

The Agilas missed clinching it in the fourth but regrouped in the fifth to outlast the Home Power Hitters and overcome their rivals’ twice-to-beat edge in the finals. Air Force forced the sudden death with a 25-23, 22-25, 26-24, 28-26 victory last Wednesday.
