I remember being introduced to Thomas Friedman’s book back in 2008 titled The World is Flat. The book talked about the rising and innovative ways with which people have transacted and conducted business in a global scale. It taught me how international trade and communication is conducted so rapidly and effectively that virtually removes any semblance of time or distance between parties.
