Olongapo mayor withdraws candidacy, taps son to run

OLONGAPO CITY: In a move that caught many by surprise here, City Mayor Rolen Paulino went to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office here on Thursday and withdrew his candidacy.

Paulino’s son and namesake lawyer Rolen Paulino, Jr. filed his candidacy as city mayor.
