THE software that will be used with the automated election system (AES) for the 2019 midterm elections is now undergoing a source code review by interested local groups and parties. Referred to as “Local Source Code Review” (LSCR), the activity was launched last Oct. 13, 2018 and scheduled to start the week after. The LSCR was attended by false starts as there were details that needed to be completed, including the non-disclosure agreement required to be signed by the participants. Weather conditions also disrupted the planned schedules.
