China Telecom named 3rd telco

Security concerns raised

A CONSORTIUM between China Telecommunications Corp., or China Telecom, and Filipino partner Udenna Corp. and its unit Chelsea Logistics Holdings Corp. has been declared the provisional third telco player that will attempt to break the duopoly of Globe Telecom and PLDT.
