DILG seeks martial law extension

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año on Tuesday called for a third extension of martial law and the suspension of the writ of habeas corpus in Mindanao, saying residents were in favor of it.

“Based on the feedback of the people of Mindanao, I would rather opt for another extension,” he told reporters in a chance interview.
