No country for foreign activism, no issue for sentimentalism

Pragmatism, not sentimentality, is a more sensible reaction to the departure of Sister Patricia Anne Fox from the Philippines on Saturday when her visitor’s visa expired.

Her talk during her farewell news conference prior to departure ironically appeared to give substance to the reasons advanced by the Immigration bureau for downgrading her visa.
