FILIPINO gymnast Carlos Yulo made history on Friday at the World Gymnastics Championships in Doha, Qatar, when he won the bronze medal in the men’s floor exercise, becoming the first Filipino and the first Southeast Asian athlete to make it to the podium in any apparatus in the 48 editions of the annual tournament, which was livestreamed on the Federation Internationale Gymnastique (FIG) channel.
