THE trough of typhoon 'Rosita' (international name: 'Yutu') will continue to bring isolated rain showers over parts of Northern Luzon even after it has left the Philippines, the state-run weather bureau said on Thursday morning.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the typhoon was last seen outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 402 kilometers (km) west northwest of Laoag City, packing maximum sustained winds of up to 90 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of 115 kph.
