SAUDI ARABIAN authorities on Wednesday formally turned over the 19 Filipinas (not 17 as the Department of Foreign Affairs initially reported) to Ambassador Adnan Alonto following their arrest in Riyadh where they attended a Halloween party, the DFA said.
The overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) were “temporarily released” to Adnan at 1:20 p.m. Riyadh time (6:20 p.m. in Manila on Wednesday).
