THE Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Monday filed a case before the Tarlac provincial prosecutor’s office against Tarlac-based clinic owner Farrah Agustin Bunch for manufacturing and selling unregistered health products said to cure various diseases including cancer. The FDA on August 8 rendered the decision on the administrative case the medical practitioners filed against the clinic. Agustin Bunch was asked to pay P1.072 million in administrative fines on the same month that the FDA cancelled their license to operate as food manufacturer and ordered the closure of their facility. The FDA denied on October 2 Agustin Bunch’s motion for reconsideration.
