The Episcopal Coronation of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, the patroness of Cardona, Rizal, was held on Sept. 27. The Catholic faithful witnessed with awe and reverence the ceremony at the Diocesan Shrine led by the main celebrant, Bishop Noli Buco, JCD, DD, the newly ordained Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Antipolo. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Vicentico Flores Jr. together with the parish priests within the Diocese serve as the concelebrants.
The solemn ceremony was followed by the blessing of the 25-foot majestic image of the patroness constructed above the adoration chapel. This is considered another milestone in the history of the parish and acknowledgment of the deep and intense devotion of the parishioners for the Blessed Mother.
