PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Chief Aaron Aquino warned on Friday that the suspects behind the ambush-slay of five of his men in Lanao del Sur would target policemen next in retaliation for the killing of a local drug lord.

'The PNP (Philippine National Police) will be their next target of ambush, based on the information we got. I already talked to the regional director of police regional office in ARMM (Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) and told them to stay vigilant,' Aquino said in a radio interview.
