The country’s premier songwriting contest, Himig Handog—which has produced several hit songs such as “Titibo-Tibo” interpreted by Moira Dela Torre, “Akin Ka Na Lang” by Morissette Amon, “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” by KZ Tandingan and “Simpleng Tulad” Mo by Daniel Padilla—has announced its pick of the 10 best original compositions from over 5,000 entries sent by Filipinos from all over the Philippines and abroad to win the grand prize.
Following tradition, these original songs will be interpreted by some of the day’s hottest and fast rising performers, under this year’s theme “Love Songs and Love Stories.”
