The 47th Miss Intercontinental has been formally launched at Conrad Manila on October 4 with Miss Intercontinental Organization CEO Detlef Tursies, Miss Intercontinental 2017 Veronica Salas Vallejo, Miss Intercontinental Japan CEO Joanna Leonisa Gimena Miyamae, COO Kumi Miyamae, Miss Intercontinental Japan 2018 Akari Maeda and Bb. According to CEO Miyamae, they had a hard time booking a venue in Japan for coronation night, which led them to hold it at what some are already calling the “pageant capital of the world.”
