Former Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada asked the Sandiganbayan’s Fifth Division to allow him to accompany his mother on her medical trip Singapore from October 1 to 8. “For her medical procedure at Singapore — accused-movant’s mother is requesting the Honorable Court that [s]he be accompanied by accused-movant Jinggoy Estrada during the duration of the examination on October 1 to 8 of this year. To this end Dra. Loi Ejercito has made a letter for this Court to allow her son Jinggoy Estrada to accompany her at Singapore for her medical examination,” Estrada’s camp said in an urgent motion. Estrada said his mother needs medical examination done by certain practicing neurosurgeon at a hospital in Singapore. He is out on bail for plunder and 11 counts of graft cases before the anti-graft court in connection with the PDAF scam.
