Typhoon “Ompong” has weakened and slowed down as it moved toward Ilocos Norte, the weather bureau said Saturday.
As of 8 a.m. today, Ompong was spotted in Kabugao, Apayao with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometer per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 305 kph moving West at 30 kph.
