Animal bite victims peak at 1.085 million in 2016; anti-rabies vaccine shortage not yet solved

The number of animal bite victims in the Philippines who sought anti-rabies treatment peaked at 1.085 million in 2016 while a shortage in human anti-rabies vaccines remains unresolved, according to a research paper on rabies posted online last July.
