BESAO, Mountain Province: Elder Mario (not his real name), said he and members of the tribe he leads are not free to move around their remote village of Dandanac because of the ominous presence of soldiers.
The elder said this when this writer and members of a multi-sectoral group from Sagada, Bontoc and Baguio City visited Barangay Tamboan in this conflict-torn village recently.
