“It was truly an epic journey,” said prime time stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil of their journey as heroes of fictional indigenous tribe Sansinukob, as they bid the show goodbye this week after an impressive run on ABS-CBN.
With the aim of attracting viewers to learn about the early Filipinos through the fictional setting—researched arduously and lengthily before taping began—the pair feels honored to have been tasked with such an important mission to show the youth the core of the country’s culture. They also feel proud to have succeeded in doing so with one of the biggest casts and production teams the network has ever put together for a prime time series.
