THE international federation of liberal political parties bestowed upon jailed Sen. Leila de Lima the “Prize for Freedom” Award on Saturday for her defense of human rights.
De Lima, detained at Camp Crame over drug charges that she claims were trumped-up to silence her, was represented by his son Israel and brother Vicente de Lima in ceremonies at the Novotel in Quezon City.
