Transpacific Broadband seeks new franchise

Transpacific Broadband Group International (TBGI) plans to apply for a legislative franchise renewal to strengthen its bid to become the country’s third major telco player.

The company informed the Philippine Stock Exchange on Thursday that it wanted to extend its corporate presence by another 25 years up to the year 2048.
