Senate congratulates Pacquiao for win over Matthysse, bringing honor to PH anew

THE Senate on Monday approved two resolutions congratulating Filipino boxing icon, Sen. Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao, for his victory over Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Senate President Vicente Sotto 3^rd and Sen. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara filed Resolutions 788 and 789 congratulating Pacquiao for taking the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title and for bringing honor once again to the country.
