Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go and President Rodrigo Duterte paid homage to the brave soldiers wounded in an encounter in Mindanao.

Duterte and Go visited on June 25 the nine soldiers confined at the Camp Evangelista Station Hospital, Cagayan de Oro City.

The President and Go also visited, in the same hospital, the 24 victims of a vehicular accident in Gingoog City. Twenty of them are civilian active auxiliary members while four are enlisted army personnel.

Earlier, Duterte and Go attended the oath-taking of newly elected barangay officials at The Atrium Convention Center in Limketkai, Cagayan de Oro City where the President gave a speech extolling the soldiers who bravely carry out their duties in defense of the country.
