A GROUP of tuna fishers in General Santos City (GenSan) decried the government’s failure to curb illegal fishing that threatens the local tuna industry.
Jake Fajurano, owner of Melvi Fishing Industry and officer of the Alliance of Tuna Handliners, said the local government in GenSan has failed to implement fishing regulations that would protect fishermen and their livelihood.
