DAYS after Typhoon “Domeng” left the country, a tropical depression is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday night or Friday morning, the state-run weather bureau said.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the tropical depression is 335 kilometers (km) west-northwest of Basco, Batanes as of 5 p.m. and will be named “Ester” when it enters the country.
