Are our streets inclusive?

ROBERT SIY

In cities, roads are all around us. Many of our streets, however, are inaccessible and unsafe, especially for those without cars. Even though public funds pay for building and maintaining roads, people who are not in cars are given less priority in the use of the road. This is because our streets have been designed primarily for conveying private motor vehicles. Those without cars are exposed to huge safety risks or left with limited mobility options.
