THE Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) has identified 20 companies, including some of the biggest corporations in the country such as Jollibee Food Corp., Dole Philippines Inc. and Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co, allegedly engaged in illegal labor-only contracting.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd disclosed Monday that the 20 establishments were part of an initial list of 3,777 companies, with a total of 224,852 workers, examined for violations of the law against illegal work contracting.
