Last week, the market posted its second three-digit weekly gain for the year when it closed at 7,752.11, up 205.92 points or 2.73 percent. The first was on the week covering January 1 to 5. The market, then, closed at 8,770.00 and ended with a weekly gain of 211.58 points, or 2.47 percent.
