SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao: The chief of the Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) has confirmed that all seven Maute brothers were killed by government troops who battled members of the Maute Group from May to October this year in Marawi City.

The Islamic State-linked Maute group seized several areas in the Islamic city on May 23, prompting President Rodrigo Duterte to declare martial law in Mindanao.
