Women, children warriors with Maute will be killed, security officials say

WOMEN and children warriors in the company of the remaining Maute-IS extremists will be “killed”, as well, if they will not surrender, top military officials said on Tuesday as government forces entered the final phase to liberate Marawi City.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and Armed Forces Chief Eduardo Ano both agreed that that the Marawi crisis would be over “within the month” because the Maute extremists, numbering less than 50, were running out of ammunition and food.
