Gov. Marcos told to stop whining, face House probe instead

A lawmaker has called on Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos to stop whining and instead show up at the House of Representatives on July 25 when it resumes its investigation on the alleged misuse of P66 million worth of tobacco funds.

Rep. Benhur Lopez Jr. of You Against Corruption and Poverty (YACAP) party-list issued gave this piece of advice to Marcos on Sunday, a day after the Ilocos Norte Governor accused the House of being unfair since her accusers were the same people investigating her.
