Duterte fires Sueno

President Rodrigo Duterte has sacked Interior Secretary Ismael Sueno following allegations of corruption, a move lauded by lawmakers.

Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said on Tuesday Duterte removed Sueno after a Cabinet meeting Monday night.
