Its red and white signage, brightly lit space, and rows of simple wooden shelves have been part of generations of Filipinos' lives, whether to prepare for school, work, and every season or reason. National Bookstore (NBS) SM North Edsa is the first branch in the chain to unveil this updated design, comprised of more stylized shelves that are installed with digital displays, amid a pristine white space. The overall effect allows the books and the wide variety of items carried by everyone’s go-to store to pop out and attract shoppers' attention.
