THE suspension of car bans under the unified vehicle volume reduction program, or the “number-coding” scheme, on all roads in Parañaque City will be lifted effective October 1 because of worsening traffic, Mayor Edwin Olivarez announced Thursday.

“There is an increase in the volume of traffic in Parañaque for the past five years and it has become unacceptable,” the mayor said.
