ASG releases woman; holds husband, son captive

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Suspected Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) bandits freed a woman trader whom they kidnapped in Zamboanga Sibugay province on August 5 but kept her husband and son captive in Sulu.

Police said Nora, together with her husband Elmer Ronoc, and their son Ricson, 8, were taken by the bandits from their house in the village of Kulisap, Payao town.
