Drug suspect shot dead in Bulacan

THE Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of Balagtas Police shot dead a suspected drug pusher during a clash along Bigaa Road in Barangay San Juan, Balagtas town, Bulacan, on Monday. Chief Insp. Napoleon Cruz, Officer-In-Charge of Balagtas Police Station, identified the slain suspect only as alias “Good Job” with no known address. Recovered from the suspect were a .38 caliber revolver and five plastic sachets of shabu. Supt. Marlon Santos, deputy provincial director for administration and concurrent chief of Bulacan Intelligence Office, said a total of 111 slain drug suspects and more than 500 were arrested as of July 1-August 22 in the province.
