LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Dagupan City has ordered the Meridien Vista and Gaming Corp. (MVGC) headed by businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang and its agents to cease and desist from operating “jai-teng” (a numbers game similar to jueteng) in the province until further order.

A four-page writ of preliminary injunction, a copy of which was obtained by The Manila Times, was issued by RTC Judge Florentino Dumlao Jr., dated August 6, 2016, was forwarded to the Philippine National Police, the National Bureau of Investigation, the Pangasinan PNP Command and municipal and city mayors.
