NINE people were killed and more than 6,000 drug pushers and users surrendered across the Bicol Region during the last 10 days in the anti-drug campaign of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

PNP Bicol spokesperson Maria Luisa Calubaquib told The Manila Times that Camarines Sur has the highest number of surrendered drug suspects, with 1,941, and Albay had 1,679.
