Camille Lauren Buico, a standout swimmer during the 2015 Batang Pinoy, won a bronze medal at the start of the Philippines’ campaign in the 6th Children of Asia International Games on Thursday in Yakutsk, Russia.

The 13-year old neophyte tanker posted a time record of 2:28.96 in the girl’s 200-meter butterfly event. Chat Yan and Nathalie Ko of Hong Kong finished first and second, respectively.
