ORION, Bataan: One died while nine others, including a five-month old baby, were injured in a head-on-collision between a Toyota Innova and a Mitsubishi L-300 van past midnight on Sunday along Roman Superhighway here. Helper mechanic James Castillo, 24, of Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, did not reach the hospital alive. Police Chief Insp. Eduardo Guevara Jr., Orion police chief, said the Innova driven by Taiwanse Chun Shen Tai, 26, was traveling in the direction of Mariveles, Bataan when it collided with the L-300 driven by Ildefonso Reyes, bound for Nueva Ecija. The baby is the daughter of the Taiwanse couple who was heading to their residence in Barangay Duale, Limay town. Police said Chun was driving fast that his vehicle hit the approaching van. The Taiwanese will be facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and multiple physical injuries.ERNIE B. ESCONDE
