Philippine U14 girls team trounce Laos in AFC meet

The Philippine Under-14 Girls National Football Team opened their campaign in the 2016 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U14 Regional Championship with a 3-1 win over host Laos, at the National University Stadium in Vientiane late Tuesday.

The Filipina booters relied on a late second half outburst to notch their first win in the regional youth-level tourney.
