Japanese conductor is new PPO music director

Fukumura starts his term this May 2016 and will be conducting his first concert as PPO Music director

JAPANESE conductor Yoshikazu Fukumura is the new music director of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. Fukumura, recognized as one of the most revered maestros in Japan, is the former music director of the Tokyo Ballet, Kyoto Municipal Symphony, and Nagoya Philharmonic.
