THE National Grid Corportion of the Philippines (NGCP) has increased the capacity of its Tuguegarao Substation to accommodate the incoming demand from a new airport and several local businesses in four provinces in Northern Luzon.

Lilibeth Gaydowen, NGCP Northern Luzon corporate communications and public affairs officer, said it upgraded its power transformer from 90 megavolt amperes (90MVA) to 190MVA.
