A BOARD member of Palawan with his wife, the incumbent mayor of Bataraza town, and their two police escorts escaped unhurt after a group of unidentified armed men opened fire at their vehicle on Wednesday in a remote village in Brooke’s Point, in the province.
Reports reaching the PNP National Operating Center in Camp Crame on Thursday identified the victims as Hji Abraham Ibba, ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Mayor Hja Katrina Ibba, and their two escorts – Police Officers 2 Calingao and Havie Asarab.
