Ex- Pandi vice mayor slain by lone gunman

A FORMER vice mayor of Pandi town in Bulacan was shot dead by a lone gunman, who stopped him in a remote village on his way home from his farm on Monday.

The victim, 61-year-old Roberto “Ruben” Rivera of Barangay Bunsuran 3rd, was on his way home on board his Nissan pickup (UHU-942) from his farm in Barangay Bagbaguin at about 6:30 p.m. when the suspect stopped him in Barangay Manatal.
