The House of Representatives has approved House Bill 6338, making the City of Malolos a lone legislative district, Bulacan First District Rep. Ma. Victoria Sy-Alvarado said.

The Malolos lone district bill was approved January 25, two days after the commemoration of the 117th Anniversary of the Philippine First Republic and was already approved for transmittal to the Senate.
