AT least 10,000 new jobs will be created in both the upstream and downstream support industries once the country’s electric vehicle (EV) industry is successfully developed, the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) predicted.
“In fact, with enough government support and incentives, the Philippines might just be the next EV manufacturing hub in the region,” EVAP President Rommel Juan said.
