TELECOMMUNICATIONS and digital services provider Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) is boosting internet connectivity for the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit which will be held in Manila next week.

PLDT has installed facilities to provide up to 8.5 Gbps of internet connectivity and voice solutions needed in major conference venues and host hotels for the 8,000 delegates expected to attend the APEC meetings.
