6,240 households in Visayas energized

ILOILO CITY: Some 6,240 households in three Visayas regions have been served by the Department of Energy (DOE) under its household electrification program (HEP) since the initiative commenced in 2010.

The HEP is in support of the government’s rural electrification program, said Lourdes S. Arciaga, program coordinator for Visayas.
